Rasch analysis of the International Personality Item Pool Big Five Markers Questionnaire: Is longer better?

The 50-item International Personality Item Pool version of the Big Five Markers (IPIP-BFM) is an open-source and widely used measure big five personality traits. A short this (IPIP-BFM-25) has been developed using classical test theory approach. No study was performed to examine psychometric properties a longer shorter IPIP-BFM Indonesia modern theory. This aimed evaluate Indonesian as well IPIP-BFM-25 Rasch analysis. analysis conducted in order their dimensionality, rating scale functioning, item properties, person responses, targeting, reliability, bias on 1003 samples. findings showed that both have some adequate especially regarding category function, bias. However, emotional stability intellect scales did not meet assumption unidimensionality, all items were too easy endorse by participants. In general, measures outperformed terms separation reliability. Further testing refinement must be conducted.
